On the 23th January,2011 was hold the First Lego League Regional Competition in Gijón, Asturias,Spain.

Specially focussed on young people. Divided in 11 teams, more than 100 boys and girls from 10 to 16 years old from the region participated in this event organised by CTIC Foundation. They presented their robots, scientific and technological projects through the Body Forward Challenge. First Lego League teams explored the cutting-edge world of Biomedical engineering to discover innovative ways to repair injuries, overcame genetic predispositions with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.
