The conference took place on 23-24 February 2010 in Vilnius - Lithuania and its' main goal was in an innovative and attractive way to present various national and international initiatives illustrating how the creative industries are being developed in the Baltic Sea Region, also to map the need of cooperation in this field and to discuss how this cooperation could be continued in the future. -

The Austrian artist Martin Krenn explores and probes socio-political subjects, focusing on strategies and methods of resistance to the governing relations of power. In this, he makes use of different media, mainly photography, video and the internet. His projects are realised in the form of exhibitions, internet projects and interventions in the public space.

Study Tour - London. 10 - 12 February, 2010

This study tour introduced four of the eight partners in the CITIES network to the Shoreditch and Hoxton areas of London, and many of the creative and cultural businesses that operate in this part of the UK's capital city.

Staff Exchange in Lisbon - Portugal

A publication has been developed by the efforts of the participants and organizers of the international conference of the CITIES project, where the authors – designers, artists, cultural politicians, and philosophers - were asked to freely reflect on the humanization of the environment as well as the policy on public urban spaces.

Creative study trip to Tampere
